I always say that kids just stretch out as they grow – Jay’s eyes were his from the first picture to the last. Must have been quite a hoot to wander around with. Left too soon, dude. Hard act to follow – even if you never believed it.

That’s so funny, because that’s what I keyed into, too – those huge eyes! So curious about the world! It’s right around his first teen high school photo that I had a, “Oh hi! I know you, boy!” I wish I could confront the depression – that it would manifest into a thing I could confront – and direct my anger at it for convincing this beautiful person that the world would be better without him here. As always, thank you for all your kind words and for conitinuing to follow through the good times and the bad.
